About Me
My Story
Hello! My name is Gemmah and I am a mom of 2 wonderful kids, Ellie and Charlie. We live on the main floor of a small, two-bedroom home which we work hard to keep minimal. We also incorporate a Montessori approach to raising our children throughout our home and lifestyle.
I first discovered KonMari when Marie Kondo published her first book. I had read the general idea behind her method and watched her debut show a few years later. By that time I had began motherhood and was working in a fast paced, stressful corporate job, I found it quite difficult to maintain a clutter free home while still wanting to provide for my children and be happy. I had watched the first episode of the show and it felt like I was watching my own life! So one night with the support of my children’s father, I booked a trip to Santa Monica and enrolled myself in the KonMari Certification course. I was so scared taking that leap of faith but it was such a transformative experience.
The KonMari method is not about being minimalist however I found it worked well with our minimal lifestyle and vision of what we wanted our life to be like. Once I fully embraced the KonMari method it was clear that I was very unhappy in a number of areas in my life such as holding on to items that meant nothing to me. These items were actually the cause of some daily anxieties and once I was able to find a place for everything it was much easier to decide what belonged in our precious space and what didn’t. It also made me realize how much joy I was lacking in my daily life so I began to implement routines that brought me joy to enrich my life. I quit my stressful job and haven’t looked back!
“When we booked Gemmah in for our first session, she was so supportive. I wasn’t prepared for some of the emotion I would feel in letting go of some of my things, I didn’t realize the reasons why I was attached to them. Throughout the entire process, Gemmah was there to comfort & support me as we moved through my closet.”

“Gemmah's patience and thorough approach truly set her apart. She guided me through each step of the KonMari method, ensuring that I not only organized my space efficiently but also understood the reasoning behind each decision. Her non-judgmental attitude made the experience surprisingly comfortable. Gemmah created a supportive environment, allowing me to address clutter and make decisions without feeling overwhelmed or judged.”
